Project Management Roles & Responsibilities
First, I will work to understand all aspects of your project, build custom solutions to move it forward, and implement a plan to complete it on time, in scope, and on budget. In addition, I have worked with a range of project methodologies including Agile, iterative development, standard waterfall, RUP and custom methodologies.
I will provide oversight and leadership in executing projects from planning to completion. Daily tasks can include managing budgets, resources and relationships to achieve organizational objectives, as well as planning, developing and executing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
Furthermore, I help define and monitor each team member’s role and function, and coordinate all team activities throughout the life-cycle of a project. Identifying and managing project risks and developing solutions are additional duties.
During the execution of a project, I will analyze data, and identify trends and inefficiencies to prevent problems from arising. Provide roadmaps and periodic recommendations to senior management, finally the creation and implementation of mitigation and contingency plans.
As you can see I have been running successful projects since 1994 focusing on Web/Internet Technologies as well as Content Management Systems.

Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
The United States Department of Defense (DOD) created the Work Breakdown Structure concept as part of the Polaris mobile submarine-launched ballistic missile project.
A Work Breakdown Structure is a hierarchical decomposition of the deliverables needed to complete a project. It breaks the deliverables down into manageable work packages that can be scheduled, costed and have people assigned to them. A Work Breakdown Structure is a standard project management tool and the basis for much project planning.
A Gantt chart is a popular project management bar chart that tracks tasks across time. When first developed in 1917, the Gantt chart did not show the relationships between the tasks originally. Since then, it has become common to track both time and inter-dependencies between tasks, which is now its everyday use.
Since their first introduction, Gantt charts have become an industry standard. They are an important project management tool used for showing the phases, tasks, milestones and resources needed as part of a project.
